The Napoleonic Wars were a series of significant conflicts pitting the French Empire and its allies and was led by Napoleon I. The Battle of Wavre was the last battle of the Hundred Days campaign and the Napoleonic Wars. It took place on 18-19 June 1815, between Prussian under the command of General Johann von Thielmann and the French army. This battle o prevented many of the French corps from participating in the Battle of Waterloo on June 18, 1815, thus contributing to the final downfall of Napoleon.
